FAMILY PICTURES

Our last family pictures were in 2014 when we left Louisville, so I decided it would be a great time to get new family pictures.  Plus it was almost our 15 year anniversary and I thought we needed to document what our family looked like after 15 years.  I found a photographer online and she agreed to come to our house, which was perfect because the fall leaves were absolutely gorgeous.  We started in the front yard with these.
The kids did great for their pictures.  Dallin even held still long enough for some cute shots.
 Boys and girls.
Then we moved to the backyard.  Our photographer wasn't the most helpful as far as placing us.  I was the one that had to say "ok let's do this picture - you stand here and you here".  After our 15 yr picture she did suggest that Jed and I take some pictures together.  She didn't give us any guidance and it was so awkward - Jed and I were laughing at how awkward it was.
At the end she finally just started taking photos and I think that is when she got some of my favorites.  I love the paparazzi style pictures where people aren't really paying attention. All in all we got some good pictures and I'm glad we had them taken.  Especially because by the next weekend a storm had blown in and we literally didn't have a leaf on any of the trees!
Black & Whites...
The final few...
(Note added 10-19-19: Little did we know that this would be our last fall in our Eagle home.  It makes me so happy that we took family pictures here (and a little sad too).  This place was the most beautiful, peaceful outdoor space ever.  We feel so blessed to have been there for two years.)
